Serendib Graphite produces and supplies natural vein graphite from Sri Lanka's Central Province. Material is processed into lump, flake, and powder forms with carbon content ranging from approximately 90% to 99% depending on grade.
Sri Lanka is the only country with commercially significant vein graphite deposits. This geological distinction produces material of consistently higher natural purity than flake graphite sources found elsewhere.
Achieves high carbon content without extensive chemical purification, reducing processing cost and environmental impact relative to synthetic or flake sources.
The hydrothermal vein formation process produces highly ordered graphitic crystallinity with superior lubricity, electrical conductivity, and thermal performance.
Natural graphite is designated a critical raw material by the EU, USA, and Japan due to its strategic importance in lithium-ion batteries, energy storage, and refractories.
All three grades are produced from the same high-purity vein graphite source and are available for sample and supply enquiries.
Large naturally-formed nodules extracted directly from the vein and minimally processed to preserve crystalline integrity. Highest natural purity available from Sri Lanka, commanding a market premium for rarity and ultra-high carbon content.

The Company is engaging with industrial buyers across four primary segments.
Battery anode material for lithium-ion batteries. Flake grade preferred. Growing demand driven by EV and grid-storage markets.
High-temperature crucibles, furnace linings, and refractory bricks. Lump grade preferred for maximum purity and thermal resistance.
Dry graphite lubricants for high-temperature and vacuum applications. Powder grade used in metal forming, aerospace, and industrial machinery.
Conductive composites, thermal management materials, foundry facings, and carbon brush manufacturing. Multiple grades applicable.
Serendib Graphite maintains export capability from Sri Lanka with standard commercial logistics. The Company is able to supply material under FOB, CIF, or other negotiated Incoterms.

Serendib Graphene represents the Group's downstream development initiative focused on graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO). The platform is currently in the development phase, with pilot-scale capabilities under evaluation.
The strategic objective is to convert internally sourced graphite feedstock into higher-value advanced materials, enabling margin expansion over time as the graphene market moves from laboratory scale to commercial deployment.
The Group's upstream graphite operations provide a cost-competitive, controlled feedstock base for graphene production — a structural advantage over standalone graphene producers dependent on third-party supply.
Initial focus is on graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide as the most scalable and commercially proven graphene derivatives, addressing applications in energy storage, composites, and filtration.
The Company is targeting two primary graphene derivatives at pilot scale. Neither product is currently available for commercial supply.
The following milestones represent the Group's target development trajectory for the graphene platform. All timelines are indicative and subject to capital deployment and technical outcomes.
GO and rGO synthesis from proprietary graphite feedstock being evaluated at laboratory scale. Material characterisation in progress.
Establish pilot-scale production capability. Optimise process parameters for consistent output quality.
Supply qualification samples to target industrial customers. Initiate product certification processes.
Scale to commercial production volumes. Target initial supply agreements with qualified industrial partners.
We will notify registered parties when qualification samples become available.

Serendib Minerals is an ADGM-based holding company with controlling interests in graphite mining operations in Sri Lanka and a developing downstream graphene platform. The Group is focused on extraction, processing, and commercialisation of high-purity vein graphite, with a strategy to progressively expand into higher-margin advanced carbon materials.
Natural graphite is designated a critical mineral across major economies, driven by demand from lithium-ion batteries, energy storage, and industrial refractories. Domestic supply chains in the EU, USA, and Japan are insufficient, creating sustained demand for high-quality imported material.
Sri Lanka hosts the world's only commercially significant vein graphite deposits, characterised by superior natural purity and crystallinity relative to flake graphite found elsewhere. The asset base is geologically scarce, making supply expansion by new entrants structurally constrained.
The Company is developing downstream capabilities in graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO), positioning for margin expansion beyond primary material sales. The graphene programme is capital-efficient, funded progressively from graphite revenues.
Initial focus on graphite monetisation with phased capital deployment into processing and advanced materials manufacturing. The sequenced approach reduces execution risk: graphite generates near-term revenue while graphene development progresses in parallel.
Each step up the value chain represents a meaningful increase in realised margin per tonne of graphite produced.
The Company welcomes conversations with strategic investors, institutional counterparties, and industrial partners exploring the critical materials sector. Confidential information is available to registered parties under NDA.
